A selection of the items Year 5 made to sell at their Environmental Fundraiser yesterday. We used all of our learning from the term to inspire us to raise money to help support our school environment by recycling, upcycling and using natural materials to make sellable items.
Some of our creative ideas included keyrings made from the plastic from milk cartons, plastic bottles turned into vases, bird feeders and Christmas decorations made from pine cones, leaves and twigs.
Thank you to everyone who came to support us and bought our items – I am very proud to tell you that we raised an amazing £275! Well done to all of the children for their hard work and to the staff that helped to make this possible.
The Year 5 team would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families and very Merry Christmas and thank you for all your support this term.
