A warm welcome to you!

Little Green has been a key part of Croxley Green since 1949 and we’re proud to have strong links with the community and a place in the hearts of many village residents.

We offer a special environment for children in years 3-6, set in acres of grass and woodland in the Hertfordshire countryside. Our high expectations of behaviour and attitudes to learning help us develop each child’s potential using a creatively linked curriculum that ensures the key skills of reading, writing and maths are understood and explored in wider contexts such as outdoor learning. This is complimented by a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and exciting events

We are delighted that Little Green children adapt particularly well through secondary school transition and we believe that stems from our focus on building resilience in our children throughout their time at the school as well as the unique 3-form environment in which our children are able to become accustomed to moving between classes as they grow through the school.

We want every child that joins us to feel that they can thrive in a safe supportive school. We are proud of the what we offer at Little Green and encourage parents to get involved with FOLG (Friends of Little Green) and to share any special experience or skills that they may have with the children.

Our aim is for every child to thrive in a positive environment. Whether you’re an existing or prospective parent, we do hope you find everything you are looking for on our website. Please contact us at school if you have any queries on suggestions on this website or how we can make Little Green an even better place to learn. We warmly encourage visits to the school which can be arranged through the school office.

We look forward to meeting you.

Yours sincerely,

The School Governors
