Google @ Little Green

Little Green is a Google School. By that, we mean that we use Google products & software to compliment our teaching and learning.

We will communicate with you using Google products (as will many of the secondary schools that our pupils move on to), so if you do not have a Google account already, you may find it useful to create one.

Passwords

All our pupils have their own Google account and will create a unique, secure password, and a useful way of remembering it, in class. The passwords may look complex and hard to remember, but we now have several years worth of evidence that our approach works. In a relatively short amount of time, the vast majority of our learners remember their passwords.

Pupils who join us in Year 3 will bring their log-in information home with them so that they can carry on their learning in their own time. Please keep this in a safe place.

For a variety of reasons, a small number of children may end up with a generic password. These can be changed if necessary.

Forgotten passwords

We don't routinely reset passwords (unless it has been compromised) as we prefer to remind the children of the 'prompt' they came up with to help them remember it. This approach will serve them well for creating passwords in the future.

As always, please contact your child's teacher on the class email if you have any issues.
